Description

Guiding the Way to Inclusion (GWI) offers enrollment and admission professionals an opportunity to explore issues pertaining to campus diversity and multicultural recruitment. Focused on diversity and access, GWI features education sessions that highlight best practices for supporting underrepresented students through the college admission process. In addition to promoting in-depth understanding of college enrollment processes, this conference prioritizes personal and professional growth.

GWI 2020 will occur July 26-29, 2020 at the Flamingo Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

General Information

1. Faculty Advisory Committee applications will not be reviewed without submission of the application and all supplemental documents. These include professional CV/resume and head shot.

2. Faculty Advisory Committee members are responsible for their own travel and hotel accommodations, in addition to all other necessary conference expenses including, meals, taxi/Uber/Lyft, photocopies, and materials.

3. Faculty Advisory Committee expectations are outlined in the application. 

4. Faculty Advisory Committee applications are due on Friday, November 8, 2019. Any additional questions should be submitted to Crystal E. Newby, senior associate director of education and training.
